Mindtap Mechanism. It gives counters too. Maybe Counterterrorism to move counters around.

Well I just found that I would stun back alot and not get the counter. while the trident could generate upto 4 counters a turn.
stun a one drop and not stun back (1). evade (2).stack Dr Sivana and recover from the evade then evade (3). recover from Dr Sivana then evade (4). Normal Recovery. seems rough but if you have a 4/2 a 5/1 and a 4/5 on three it is not that hard.
I know that it is best case but it seems better than not getting a counter when I stun back and best case one counter a turn in the hidden area. Thought about terrorism but id does not give me any advantage. I would prefer Membership drive or Counterstrike the actually net me a counter instead of just moving one .

It seems like a really exciting deck idea - but watch out because we just learned that if you find a way to break the rules they will change the rules on you :) Anyway, I can't think of anything because I haven't been looking at or thinking about VS cards really since the PC. I just don't have any interest in constructed if there's not a tournament coming up that I can play in. If I get some time I will try to come up with some ideas.

And looking at the sets these cards are from, it looks like it could be a really good DC modern deck. If it plays really well, I would keep it under wraps until the next big DC modern tournament. Dr. Sivana would make me really really really want to play a recovery effect or two. I don't think SS has any recovery tricks, but Plunder Plan and Sorcerer's Treasure might be good. You could go Straight to the Grave, and since you have SS, get a character and a plot twist, then Sorcerer's Treasure to play the plot twist you put in the yard. With Prejudice could replace your non DC Modern ATK pumps, and it would put cards in your yard which would also be good.

I wonder if you could make a DC modern deck out of it, teaming up with JLI to use Ted Kord, Kooey Kooey Kooey, JLI embassy to recover Dr. Sivana every turn, and a 5-drop reservist, like oh-I-don't know... John Henry Irons, Steel-Drivin' Man?!! Actually a JLI reservist 5-drop might be better, eiter Blond Bombshell or Tasmanian Devil. You might even be able to cut your 4-drops, and make the plan into as follows: Turn 3- Sivana, Turn 4- Mist with Trident (which you should have by then), do evasion tricks to get counters, Recover Sivana with Embassy, who recovers the rest of your team, Turn 5- Reservist 5-drop, Activate Kooey Kooey Kooey for whatever you need, do evasion tricks to get counters, Recover Sivana etc. etc. etc.,

I would definitely still play 4 Copperhead and 4 Manhunter Clone, so you could always slap a Trident down if you have one turn 2.

In that case it might go as follows:
Turn 1: Ted Kord
Turn 2: Activate Ted, get Trident, play an Copperhead or Clone, equip.
Turn 3: Sivana, discard the un-affiliated Blue Beetle guy to search for another trident, etc. etc. etc.

These are just the ideas off the top of my head, I'm sure you could make an excellent DC modern deck out of it, I really like the deck idea Core man.

Oh yeah and every time you stun The Mist during combat, you not only get a counter but you also get to ship one of their guys to the hidden area, so a couple of turns later (and many counters later), you can smash through directly, denying your opponent formation and reinforcement options.

I think after work I will see if I can come up with a SS/JLI version of the deck.

The Henry King <> Brainwave (DJL-125) has been cut for Hector Hammond (DJL-124) his 9 but is redonculous. Take that Melissa Gold with an image inducer.
The counts are now 4 Hector and 2 Lex
